Flag-Mountain Ash—Barked
Flag-Mountain Ash—Barked
This tree is found in the Macquarie Pass, Blue Mountains, Australia. During the 2019–20 Australian bushfire season, the entire mountain range was engulfed in flames. The tree is close to Carrington Falls. In 1836 Charles Darwin probably passed by this tree on a visit to the Blue Mountains during his epic voyage on the Beagle.
