The Tree: Towering above the skyline just west of Woodside, CA, is a massive old-growth Coastal Redwood (sequoia sempervirens). Its name is “Methuselah” and it is the oldest, more than 1,800 years, and largest living tree in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
